The 2008 Irish Cardiac Society Young Investigator Award was won by Dr Johann Bennett from the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. He presented on "Novel low-tilt monophasic and biphasic waveforms compared with standard biphasic waveforms in internal defibrillation of ventricular fibrillation". Read his abstract
