There is no pre-registration required for the Irish Cardiac Society Scientific Sessions but you must sign in on arrival to receive your CPD points.

The 2016 Stokes Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Ohman, Professor of Medicine, Duke University Medical Centre, USA. The title of Dr. Ohmans Lecture is :
'The Role of Aspirin in Acute Coronary Syndromes - A 30 Year Journey'
Brian Maurer Young Investigator Award (BMYIA)
The BMYIA is aimed at promising young investigators to encourage and promote quality and original research in Cardiology. There are four finalists for this years award which is supported by Servier Laboratories Ireland Ltd. The finalists will present on Friday October 7th from 4.00pm - 5.00pm.
Irish Cardiac Society Brian McGovern Fellowship
The Brian McGovern Fellowship is awarded to a fellow in training to allow them to travel to an international center of excellence to undertake sub-specialty training and is supported by Bayer Ireland. The winner of the 2016 Fellowship will be announced at the Gala Dinner on Friday October 7th.
